Last updated on Wednesday, November 28, 2012

(Los Angeles, CA) - George Hill made a last second jumper with .01 seconds left in the game to lift the Indiana Pacers over the Los Angeles Lakers, 79-77 at Staples Center.

Kobe Bryant made a 3-pointer with just over 25 seconds left in the fourth period before the Indianapolis native hit the game winning shot to send the Pacers to 7-8 on the season and winners of three of their last four games.

Bryant led all scorers with 40 points, and Pau Gasol, who complained of tendinitis in his knees earlier this week, scored 10 points on 2-9 shooting from the floor.

Hill led the Pacers with 19 points and five assists and David West added 16 points and 10 rebounds.

The Pacers continue their four game road trip Friday night against the 4-10 Sacramento Kings.
