(Cincinnati, OH) The San Francisco Giants completed their historic National League Division Series comeback with a 6-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ballpark.

Buster Posey's grand slam in the fifth inning came off an ineffective Mat Latos and sent the Giants back to the championship series after a one season absence.

The Giants scored all their runs in the fifth inning, starting when Brandon Crawford laced a triple to right field to score Gregor Blanco.

Crawford later scored when Zach Cozart made a throwing error, and a four pitch walk and a base hit loaded the bases.

Posey drilled the 2-2 pitch from Latos over the left field wall for the Giants third postseason grand slam in team history.

The Reds came to life in their half of the fifth when Brandon Phillips doubled to score Ryan Hanigan and Drew Stubbs.

Ryan Ludiwg homered in the sixth and drove-in two more in the ninth before the rally was cut down.

Latos pitched into the fifth inning and was charged with five of the six runs scored.

San Francisco became the first team to win the NLDS after falling behind two games to nothing and the Reds are still waiting for their first playoff home win in 17 years.

The Giants will face either the Cardinals or Nationals Sunday in game one of the NLCS.
