Balanced Attack Gives Fever Early Advantage In WNBA Finals

Last updated on Monday, October 15, 2012

(Minneapolis, MN) - Four players scored in double digits to help the Indiana Fever pulloff a stunning 76-70 win over the Minnesota Lynx in game one of the WNBA Finals.

Erlana Larkins had 16 points and 15 rebounds for an Indiana squad that was minus Katie Douglas, who severely injured her ankle after landing wrong during the clinching game five playoff against the Connecticut Sun.

The Fever's top scorer stayed in Indianapolis for treatment and her availability for the rest of the series is questionable.

Game two is Wednesday night at the Target Center.

Tipoff is at 8:00.
