(South Bend, IN) The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame host the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday.
The Irish are ranked 15th in this week's USA Today Coaches Poll and are 3-0 with wins over Navy, Purdue and Michigan State.
The 17th-rated Wolverines are 2-and-1, losing their opener to top-ranked Alabama at Cowboys Stadium before edging Air Force and pounding UMass at home.
Michigan is the winningest program in college football while Notre Dame ranks third among BCS schools.
The Wolverines lead the all-time series with a 23-15-1 mark and have won the last three games against the Irish.
