(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indiana Fever begin their playoff run tonight against the Atlanta Dream in downtown Indianapolis.
The Dream eliminated the Fever from the postseason last season. The Fever finished the regular season 22-12 overall while the Dream finished 19-15.
The Dream were responsible for the Indiana's playoff exit in 2011 by eliminating the Fever in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The teams met five times in 2012, with the Fever winning the regular season series three games to two.
The best-of-three playoff series matches the league's two best forwards against each other.
Angel McCoughtry of the Dream is the W-N-B-A's top scorer with a 21-point-4 points per
game average. 2011 MVP Tamika Catchings averages 17.4 points per game.
