Colts Looking For Second Straight Win Sunday Against Jags

Last updated on Friday, September 21, 2012

(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts wrap up practice for the week today as they continue preparing for Sunday’s game with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jaguars have won three of the last four meetings between the teams and much of the focus for the Colts' defense will be on stopping Jacksonville running back Maurice Jones-Drew.

Jones-Drew is the reigning NFL rushing champion after running for 1,606 yards in 2011.

A holdout cost him all of the preseason this year and he is averaging 68-point-five yards per game in the Jags' losses to Minnesota and Houston to open the season.

The Colts are 1-and-1 and are coming off a win over the Vikings last Sunday.

The Colts' offensive line continues to be a worry as one lineman did not practice on Thursday and two more were limited.

Guard Joe Reitz has not played this season due to a knee injury and did not practice for a second-straight day yesterday.

Center Samson Satele and Guard Mike McGlynn were limited in practice due to knee injuries. McGlynn filled in for Satele at center in last Sunday's win over Minnesota.

It does look as though the Horseshoes will get Winston Justice back as the tackle has practiced fully both days this week after suffering a concussion two weeks ago.

Linebacker Dwight Freeney continues to sit out with his ankle sprain while defensive end Cory Redding missed yesterday's practice with a triceps injury.

Wide receiver Austin Collie continues to practice fully after being out since early in the preseason with a concussion.
