Collie And Hilton Expected To Play On Sunday

Last updated on Thursday, September 13, 2012

(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts continue to prepare for Sunday’s home opener with the Minnesota Vikings at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts lost their season opener to the Bears in Chicago while the Vikings won their opener at home, pulling out an overtime victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Andrew Luck threw for 309 yards and a touchdown in his Indianapolis debut, but needs to work on ball security after throwing three interceptions and losing a fumble against the Bears.

Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson returned from a pair of torn knee ligaments suffered in last year's season finale.

Peterson ran for 84 yards and two touchdowns against the Jags.

The Colts expect to have wide receivers Austin Collie and T.Y. Hilton available for Sunday's game with the Vikings. Both participated fully in yesterday's practice.

Collie is coming back from a concussion suffered in Week Two of the preseason while Hilton missed last weekend's loss at Chicago with a shoulder injury.

Linebacker Dwight Freeney and offensive tackle Winston Justice remain question marks.

Freeney did not participate in practice on Wednesday with his sprained ankle while Justice was limited with a concussion.

Linebacker Pat Angerer and offensive lineman Joe Reitz also sat out practice yesterday and will not play on Sunday.
