(Cleveland, OH) - The Minnesota Twins scored ten runs in the top of the second inning and cruised to a 14-3 pounding of the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field.

The Indians' losing streak is up to ten games.

Justin Morneau homered twice and drove in four runs with Ryan Doumit hitting a three-run home run and Josh Willingham adding a solo shot and driving in two.

Joe Mauer had three hits and drove in three runs.

The Twins did much of their damage off Cleveland starter Zach McAllister, who lasted just an inning and two-thirds and gave up nine runs, only two of which were earned.
