Masterson's Strong Outing Leads Indians Past Angles

(Anaheim, CA) - Justin Masterson threw six shutout innings to lead the Cleveland Indians to a 6-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels.

The Indians never trailed with Jason Donald and Asdrubal Cabrera putting them ahead to stay with RBI singles in the third innings.

Brent Lillibridge added a solo home run in the fourth to make it 3-0.

The Angels got to within a run when Albert Pujols hit his 25th home run of the season, a two-run shot off reliever Vinny Pestano.

Cleveland added three insurance runs in the ninth to hand the Angels their third-straight loss.

Masterson allowed six hits over his six innings to improve to 9-10.

C-J Wilson takes the loss to fall to 9-9.
