(Milwaukee, WI) - The Chicago Cubs' latest losing streak is up to three games as they were beaten in Milwaukee by the Brewers 5-2.
The Brewers broke the game open with three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning capped by a two-run double off the bat of Jonathan Lucroy.
Milwaukee starter Marco Estrada finally got into the win column, throwing six innings of two-hit, shutout ball while striking out nine Cubs to move to 1-5.
Rookie Chris Rusin started for the Cubs and pitched well, giving up a run on a hit over five innings in taking the loss in his major league debut.
Chicago scored both of its runs in the ninth on an RBI single by Alfonso Soriano and a groundout by Starlin Castro before John Axford finally closed the door for the Brewers.
