Colts Wrap Up Preaseason Play Tonight Against The Bengals

Last updated on Thursday, August 30, 2012

(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts wind up the preseason tonight as they face the Cincinnati Bengals at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts are 1-2 in the preseason with an opening-week home win over St. Louis followed by back-to-back road losses at Pittsburgh and Washington.

The Bengals are 2-1, winning their first two games against the New York Jets and Atlanta before losing at home to Green Bay one week ago.

Colts head coach Chuck Pagano is not expected to play his starters very long before focusing on the final spots on the roster as all NFL teams need to be down to 53 players by Friday night.

Those reserves who survive tomorrow night's cut will still have to sweat holding down their roster spots for a few days.

Since the Horseshoes finished with the worst record in the league last season, they get the first chance to claim players off waivers.

General manager Ryan Grigson has been very active in making roster moves and is expected to make more following tomorrow night's cuts.
