(Pittsburgh, PA) - The St. Louis Cardinals solidified their hold on second place in the NL Central with a 4-3 victory over the Pirates in Pittsburgh.

Matt Holliday led off the top of the sixth with a go-ahead solo homer off Pittsburgh starter AJ Burnett with Yadier Molina adding a sacrifice fly later in the inning.
