(West Lafayette, IN) - Purdue Cornerback Sean Collins has been dismissed from the team following his arrest Saturday at a West Lafayette bar.
Coach Danny Hope said yesterday that Collins was dismissed due to the serious nature of the charges and the decision could be re-evaluated if the allegations change.
Collins was arrested on preliminary charges of public intoxication, resisting arrest, and battery. He's accused of hitting a 22 year-old woman who was treated and released at a hospital.
