Indiana Divers Going To The Olympics

(Federal Way, WA) - A pair of Indiana divers have reached the Olympics as the US Olympic Diving Trials concluded on Sunday.

Noblesville native David Boudia of Purdue University will compete in both the men's ten-meter individual and synchronized events in London next month. Nick McCrory, Boudia's partner in the synchronized event, finished second in the individual competition and will also compete in both events at the Olympics.

Indiana University's Christina Loukas finished second to Cassidy Krug in the women's individual three-meter competition and earned a berth on the Olympic team.

IU senior Amy Cozad finished third in the women's ten-meter competition, falling short of an Olympic berth while former IU diver Amy Korthauer placed sixth.

Indianapolis native Thomas Finchum fell short of an Olympic berth in both the men's three-meter and ten-meter competitions and announced his retirement from competitive diving.
