Dream Shoot Past Fever, 70-58

(Atlanta, GA) - Angel McCoughtry scored 22 points to lead the Atlanta Dream past the Indiana Fever 70-58 in Atlanta.

Sancho Lyttle added 17 for the Dream, who recorded back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

The Fever led 18-12 at the end of one before the roof caved in. The Dream outscored Indiana 25-to-8 in the second quarter, taking a 37-26 lead to the locker room at intermission. The Sky maintained a double-digit lead for most of the second half, building a 19-point advantage early in the fourth quarter.

No Fever player reached double figures in points as Indiana shot just 31 percent from the field.

Tamika Catchings, Katie Douglas and Jessica Davenport led Indiana with eight points each as the Fever lose for the first time in their last three games. Catchings and Douglas both went 2-for-9 from the field.

Indiana falls to 7-and-5, two games behind first-place Connecticut in the WNBA's Eastern Conference.

The Fever take on second-place Chicago this afternoon in Rosemont, Illinois. The Sky are 7-and-3 with two of those losses coming against Indiana.
