(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Atlantic Ten Conference unveiled the home and away opponents for the Butler Bulldog men’s basketball team for the upcoming 2012-2013 season.
The Bulldogs will host conference opponent Temple, who won the A10 regular season last year. They will also entertain St. Bonaventure, who was the conference tournament winner.
Other home opponents include Rhode Island, Duquesne, Charlotte, and Richmond. The Bulldogs will travel to the University of Massachusetts, Dayton, Fordham, La Salle, Saint Joseph's, George Washington, and another Atlantic Ten newcomer, Virginia Commonwealth.
St. Louis is the only team Butler will face twice, one game at Hinkle and one game away. Butler will play Xavier, another member of the Atlantic Ten. The game will be a non-conference game because of early scheduling.
Game dates and times will be released in late summer or early fall.
