More Than 3,000 Colts Tickets Still Available

Last updated on Wednesday, May 30, 2012

(INDIANAPOLIS) - For the first time since the late 1990s, Indianapolis Colts officials said there are about 3,000 season tickets still available for purchase.

Team officials said they've recruited a third-party seller to help move the tickets to the end zone.

In the past, Colts fans had to wait on a list for years to get the chance to buy season tickets, but since several notable players no longer play for the Colts, namely famed quarterback Peyton Manning, many fans are passing on ticket purchases.

"Some of those folks we flat out can't reach them. Maybe some have passed on or they failed to give us information, say if they've moved out of town," said Larry Hall, vice president of ticket operations.

Hall said the team has scheduled an open practice on June 13 at Lucas Oil Stadium in hopes of catching the attention of prospective ticket buyers.

"We're going to put some tape up on seats that are available so people can come and see practice and actually see (available seats)," Hall said.

Most of the available tickets are in the upper level and cost $690 for the season.

Fans interested in purchasing tickets can call 317-299-4946 for more information.
