(INDIANAPOLIS) - With practice for the Indianapolis 500 getting underway later this week, engine manufacturer Lotus finds itself minus one more team and fielding a lawsuit.

Dragon Racing has severed ties with Lotus with team owner Jay Penske filing a breach of contract suit in Los Angeles.

Both of Dragon's drivers, rookie Katherine Legge and Sebastien Bourdais are scheduled to participate in the Rookie Orientation Program at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Thursday provided the team can get a new engine lease deal in place. Dragon is expected to sign with Chevrolet.

Lotus, Honda and Chevrolet supply engines to the IZOD IndyCar Series with Lotus clearly behind its two competitors. Since the start of the season, Lotus has lost deals with Dreyer and Reinbold Racing and Bryan Herta Autosport in addition to losing Dragon.

Lotus has just two one-car teams remaining in its stable - H-V-M Racing with driver Simona De Silvestro and Fan Force United, which is bringing former Formula One driver Jean Alesi to the Speedway.
