(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Fever waived two players as the team gets ready for Saturday’s regular season opener against the Atlanta Dream.
The Fever cut La'Tangela Atkinson and Shannon Bobbitt on Monday.
Atkinson was a free agent signed for training camp last month. Bobbitt was a reserve guard with Indiana last season, averaging 3.9 points in 31 games in 2011.
The moves leave the Fever roster at the regular-season limit of eleven players.
