(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Colts made a roster move on Thursday, signing undrafted free agent quarterback David Lagree and waiving tight end Brody Eldridge.
Lagree started his college career at Syracuse before transferring to Hampton following the 2008 season. He threw for 1,636 yards with ten touchdown passes and four interceptions for the Pirates last year.
Eldridge was a fifth-round draft choice of the Colts in 2010. In two seasons in Indianapolis, Eldridge played in 27 games catching 14 passes for 84 yards. His primary role for the Colts was as a blocker with Dallas Clark and Jacob Tamme serving as the receiving tight ends.
The Horseshoes drafted two tight ends last month - Coby Fleener in the second round and Dwayne Allen in the third round.
The Colts also announced the signing of seventh-round draft pick Justin Anderson, a guard out of the University of Georgia.
Five of the ten draft choices have now come to terms. Still unsigned are number-one overall pick Andrew Luck, Fleener, Allen, T-Y Hilton and Josh Chapman.
