Pacers Dominate Minnesota, 111-88

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Pacers opened with an 18-2 run and cruised to a 111-88 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

This one was ugly early as Indiana would lead by 25 in the first quarter and 37 just before halftime. The Pacers led 64-30 at intermission with the lead dropping below 30 just once in the third quarter.

Minnesota held the Pacers scoreless for the first 6:58 of the fourth quarter, using an 18-0 run to get the deficit down to 14. Indiana would close the game out by outscoring the Wolves 16-7.

David West led the way for the Pacers with 22 points and ten rebounds with Danny Granger scoring 19 points and Paul George finishing with 18.

JJ Barea led Minnesota with 14 points as the Timberwolves drop their tenth game in a row.

The Blue-and-Gold are back on the road tonight as they face the 76ers in Philadelphia. The Pacers and Sixers have split their first two games this season with each team winning on its home court. It is the final road game for Indiana this season as they close out the regular season with four games at home.
