(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Pacers overcame a 17-point deficit late in the third quarter to defeat the New York Knicks 112-104 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

New York led 87-72 at the end of three periods of play when Indiana came alive, going on a 22-4 run over the first six and-a-half minutes of the fourth to take the lead for good. The Pacers wound up outscoring New York 40-17 in the final quarter.

Danny Granger led Indiana with 27 points with 14 of those coming in the fourth quarter. Paul George added 18 with twelve of those coming in the final twelve minutes of the game.

Carmelo Anthony led all scorers with a season-high 39 points with Landry Fields finishing with 15 as the Knicks fail to sweep the three-game season series.

The Pacers win combined with Orlando's loss in Detroit moves the Blue-and-Gold up to the number-three seed in the Eastern Conference Playoff race.

Indiana improves to 32-and-21 as they hit the road to face the Washington Wizards tonight in the nation's capital.
