(MUNCIE) - Ball State University has a new athletic director.
Bill Scholl comes to the Cardinals after spending the past three years as deputy athletic director at Notre Dame. He replaces Tom Collins as AD. Collins announced his resignation in January but is still running the program and was on hand for Monday's announcement at Worthen Arena.
Scholl begins his new duties on April 30th.
Among his first decisions will be finding a new women's basketball coach. Kelly Packard resigned last month after four seasons with the Cardinals.
