Last updated on Tuesday, March 27, 2012

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Pacers avoided being swept this season by Miami, defeating the Heat 105-90 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Danny Granger led all scorers with 25 points with Darren Collison adding 20 and Paul George contributing a double-double of 16 points and ten rebounds.

The game was tied at 24 at the end of the first period and stayed close throughout the first half. George hit a three-pointer from beyond mid-court at the end of the second quarter to give Indiana a 49-46 advantage at halftime - a lead they would not relinquish.

Collison scored eleven points in the third quarter as the Blue-and-Gold outscored the Heat 29-19 in the period. The lead would grow to as many as 16 points late as Indiana pulled away.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade scored 24 points apiece for Miami as the Heat lose for the second time in two nights.

The Pacers improve to 29-and-19 heading to a Wednesday night game with New Jersey Nets in Newark.
