Pacers Host Clippers Tuesday Night

Last updated on Tuesday, March 20, 2012

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers try to halt a two-game skid tonight when the Los Angeles Clippers come to Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The Pacers are coming off back-to-back losses to the New York Knicks over the weekend, falling at Madison Square Garden 115-100 on Friday night and losing 102-88 Saturday night in Indianapolis. The losses dropped the Blue-and-Gold to 25-and-18 on the season.

Indiana's players had Monday off except for one - recently acquired guard Leandro Barbosa spent the day getting acclimated to the offensive and defensive sets. Barbosa is expected to make his Pacers debut tonight after being acquired from Toronto at the trade deadline for a second-round draft pick and cash.

For the Clippers, tonight's contest is the first of three road games in three nights. They improved to 26-and-18 with an overtime victory over Detroit Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.

The Clipps are led by a pair of All-Stars in forward Blake Griffin and guard Chris Paul. Griffin averages a team-high 21 points and eleven rebounds per game while Paul is averaging 19-point-seven points and eight-point-four assists per contest.
