Barbosa Helps Pacers Top Clippers

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers halted their two-game skid with a 102-89 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Los Angeles built a seven-point lead in the first quarter before the Pacers went on an 8-1 run to end the period with a 31-31 tie.

The Indiana bench took over in the second quarter with Leandro Barbosa making his debut for the Blue-and-Gold. Barbosa scored nine points in the quarter as the Pacers took the lead for good and led 54-46 at intermission.

Danny Granger scored a game-high 25 points to lead Indiana with Tyler Hansbrough and George Hill contributing off the bench - Hansbrough with 17 points and Hill with 15. Barbosa finished with twelve points.

Blake Griffin led the Clippers with 23 points and ten boards with Chris Paul scoring 16 points.

The Pacers improve to 26-and-18 as they embark on their second and final stretch of three games in three nights this season Thursday night when they face the Wizards in Washington, DC.

The Phoenix Suns come to the Fieldhouse on Friday night with the back-to-back-to-back ending Saturday night in Milwaukee.
