(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Cody Zeller scored 22 points to lead number-23 Indiana to an 84-71 win over Illinois at Assembly Hall in Bloomington.
Christian Watford and Victor Oladipo finished with 18 points apiece and Jordan Hulls scored 15 points as the Hoosiers improved to 14-1 on the home floor this season.
DJ Richardson led the Illini with 19 points with Meyers Leonard scoring 17 before fouling out late and Brandon Paul adding 13.
Illinois falls to 16-8, 5-6 in the Big Ten.
IU is now 19-6, 7-6 in conference play and is off until Wednesday night when they host the Northwestern Wildcats.
