Pacers Thump Warriors For Fifth Straight Win

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers ran their winning streak to a season-high five games with a 102-78 pounding of the Golden State Warriors at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Indiana took command late in the second quarter, scoring the final eight points to take a 52-38 advantage to the locker room at halftime.

The Blue and Gold opened the second half with a 10-2 run and built a 33-point lead midway through the fourth quarter.

Danny Granger led the Pacers with 25 points with Tyler Hansbrough adding 15 off the bench as Indiana improves to 22-12.

Monta Ellis and former Pacer Brandon Rush tied the Warriors for team-high honors with 14 points apiece. Golden State drops to 13-18.

The Pacers will get three days off before facing the New Orleans Hornets Saturday night in the Big Easy.

Indiana beat the Hornets 117-108 in overtime on February 21st at the Fieldhouse.
