Colts Available To Negotiate With Scout Prospects

Last updated on Friday, February 24, 2012

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The NFL scouting combine continues in Indianapolis.

Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano and General Manager Ryan Grigson met with the media at the combine on Thursday. Both spent much of the session deflecting questions regarding the status of quarterback Peyton Manning with both saying they have not watched the four-time MVP throw as he recovers from neck surgery.

The Colts have the number-one overall pick in April's NFL draft and can begin negotiating with prospects for the top spot beginning today. Grigson says they will not begin negotiations as they are still evaluating players at the combine.

Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck and Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III are believed to be the Colts' top two targets.
