Bulldogs Knock Off Raiders In First Round Of Horizon League Tournament

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Andrew Smith scored a career-high 25 points to lead the Butler Bulldogs to a 70-52 win over Wright State in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Roosevelt Jones added eleven points and Chrishawn Hopkins scored ten as the Bulldogs opened the second half with a 13-0 run to break the game open.

Cole Darling led the Raiders with twelve points with Julius Mays adding eleven as the Raiders lose their third game in a row to finish their season at 13-19.

Butler improves to 19-13.

They will face the Milwaukee Panthers in round two Friday night at the ARC in Valparaiso.
