Boilermakers Fall Short As Buckeyes Stay Perfect At Home

(COLUMBUS, OH) - William Buford scored 29 points to lead third-ranked Ohio State past Purdue 87-84 in Columbus.

Jared Sullinger finished with 18 points with DeShaun Thomas and Aaron Craft adding 13 points apiece as the Buckeyes ran their record at Value City Arena to 17-0 this season.

DJ Byrd hit seven of his nine shots from three-point range and led the Boilermakers with 24 points.

Kelsey Barlow scored 14 points and Robbie Hummel finished with 13 as Purdue dropped its second game in a row.

Ohio State improves to 21-3, 9-2 in the Big Ten.

Purdue falls to 15-9, 5-6 in the conference as they host Northwestern on Sunday.
