Redbirds Balanced Attack Chops Down Sycamores

(NORMAL, IL) - Tyler Brown scored 24 points, Jackie Carmichael and John Wilkins added double-doubles as the Illinois State Redbirds knocked off Indiana State 67-54.

Carmichael finished with 17 points and eleven rebounds with Wilkins scoring 13 points and grabbing eleven boards as the Redbirds snapped a three-game losing streak.

Jake Odum was the only Sycamore to reach double figures, scoring 15 points as Indiana State drops its third game in a row.

Illinois State moves to 12-7, 4-4 in the Missouri Valley. ISU falls to 11-8, 2-6 in the conference.

The Sycamores are at number 18 Creighton on Saturday afternoon.
