Pacers Lose For First Time At Home This Season

Last updated on Wednesday, January 25, 2012

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - On the heels of the worst offensive performance in franchise history, the Orlando Magic found their stroke and pounded the Indiana Pacers 102-83 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The Pacers started well, shooting 58 percent in the first quarter to take a 29-22 lead at the end of one. The Magic took over after that, tying the game at halftime and pulling away in the second half as the blue-and-gold hit just 34 percent from the field after the first period.

Orlando also did damage from three-point range, hitting 13 threes to Indiana's three. Ryan Anderson led the magic with 24 points with JJ Redick scoring 15 points and Dwight Howard adding 14 as Orlando rebounded nicely from Monday night's 87-56 loss in Boston.

Roy Hibbert scored 16 points and grabbed twelve rebounds for Indiana with Danny Granger also finishing with 16 points as the Pacers lose for the first time at home this season and fall to 11-and-5 overall.

The blue-and-gold open a three-game road trip tonight in Chicago as they take on the first-place Bulls.
