Jackson And Byrd Lead Boilermakers Past Golden Gophers

(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) - Lewis Jackson scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Purdue Boilermakers to a 79-66 win at Minnesota.

DJ Byrd hit all five of his three-point attempts to finish with a career-high 18 points with Robbie Hummel adding 13 for the Boilers.

Rodney Williams led the Golden Gophers with 19 points and 14 rebounds with Joe Coleman finishing with 14 points as Minnesota loses its fourth game in a row to fall to 12-5, 0-4 in the Big Ten.

The Boilers move to 13-4, 3-1 in the conference. Purdue returns home to host Wisconsin on Thursday night.
