Hoosiers Blow Late Lead, Drop Third Straight Game

(LINCOLN, NE) - The 13th-ranked Indiana Hoosiers lost their third game in a row, falling at Nebraska 70-69.

IU led by as many as 13 points in the second half, but the Cornhuskers chipped away with Jorge Brian Diaz hitting a pair of free throws with eleven seconds remaining to give Nebraska the upset victory.

Bo Spencer led the Cornhuskers with 23 points with Toney McCray adding eleven points and Diaz finishing with ten.

Cody Zeller paced the Hoosiers with 18 points with Jordan Hulls scoring twelve.

Nebraska improves to 10-8, 2-5 in the Big Ten.

IU drops to 15-4, 3-4 in the conference heading to a home game with Penn State on Sunday afternoon.
