Even Without Wade, James And Heat Runaway From Pacers

Last updated on Thursday, January 5, 2012

(MIAMI, FL) - The Indiana Pacers received a dose of reality in South Florida as they were pounded by the Miami Heat 118-83.

A disastrous second quarter doomed the Blue and Gold as the Pacers hit just one of 15 field goal attempts and committed ten turnovers in the period.

Indiana trailed 29-27 after one, but the Heat opened the second with a 15-6 run and would lead by as many as 37 points in the fourth quarter.

LeBron James led Miami with 33 points and 13 assists with Chris Bosh scoring 22 points as the heat played without Dwyane Wade, who was sidelined with a foot injury.

Roy Hibbert paced Indiana with 16 points and twelve rebounds with Tyler Hansbrough adding 14 as the Pacers fall to 4-2.

Danny Granger's shooting woes continue as he hit just two of his 13 shots from the field and finished with six points.

The Pacers' four-game road trip concludes Friday night in Boston.
