Colts Struggles Continue, Fall To Ravens In Baltimore

Last updated on Monday, December 12, 2011

(BALTIMORE, MD) - The Indianapolis Colts remain winless after falling to the Ravens in Baltimore 24-10.

Ravens running back Ray Rice backed up his 204-yard effort in Cleveland last week by rushing for 103 yards with a touchdown against Indianapolis.

Quarterback Joe Flacco threw touchdown passes to Torrey Smith and Dennis Pitta while Baltimore's defense shut down the Colts.

Terrell Suggs sacked Colts Quarterback Dan Orlovsky three times, forcing Orlovsky to fumble each time.

The Colts recovered all three Orlovsky fumbles.

The Colts scored their lone touchdown when Orlovsky found Jacob Tamme from 13 yards out on the final play of the game.

Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney made some personal history, becoming the 26th player in NFL history to reach 100 career sacks when he took down Flacco in the second quarter.

Freeney would sack Flacco again in the third quarter to bring his career total to 101 and a half.

He already holds the franchise lead in sacks and ranks third among active players, trailing only Jason Taylor and John Abraham.

The Ravens improve to 10-3 and remain tied with Pittsburgh for the AFC North lead.

The Colts fall to 0-13 as they host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
