(DeKALB, IL) - Ryan Broekhoff scored 19 points and hauled down eleven rebounds as the Valparaiso Crusaders defeated Northern Illinois 59-48.
Will Bogan finished with 18 points as Valpo trailed by three at halftime but used a 21-5 run in the second half to take command.
Abdel Nader scored twelve points to lead the Huskies, who are 0-11 this season.
The Crusaders improve to 8-4.
Valpo takes on IUPUI Friday afternoon at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
