Thompson Leads Georgetown's Rout Of IUPUI

(WASHINGTON, DC) - Hollis Thompson scored 21 points and grabbed ten rebounds to lead the Georgetown Hoyas to an 81-58 victory over IUPUI in the Nation’s capital.

Henry Sims finished with 14 points, Markel Starks added 13 points and Nate Lubick had a career-high 14 boards as the Hoyas blew open a close game in the second half.

Georgetown has won three in a row and improves to 5-1.

The Jaguars trailed 32-31 at intermission on the strength of senior Alex Young's 16 points.

Young went scoreless in the second half.

Mitchell Patton finished with eleven points as IUPUI falls to 2-5.

The Jags are back home on Thursday night as they open Summit League play against South Dakota State.
