Status Of Clark And Addai Unknown For Sunday's Game

Last updated on Tuesday, November 22, 2011

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts have the day off and will return to the practice field on Wednesday to begin preparing for Sunday’s game with the Carolina Panthers.

The Colts were back at team headquarters on Monday following the bye week.

The Colts are 0-10 and are looking to dent the win column against a Carolina team that comes to Lucas Oil Stadium with a 2-8 mark and a three-game losing streak.

The big decision facing head coach Jim Caldwell is who will start at quarterback on Sunday.

Starter Curtis Painter has been pulled in the last two losses for backup Dan Orlovsky.

Caldwell offered little insight into whether any of the team's injured players will return for Sunday's game with the panthers.

Caldwell says he will know more about the status of running back Joseph Addai and tight end Dallas Clark later this week.

Addai has not played in four of the last five games due to a hamstring injury.

Clark suffered a lower leg injury in the November 6th loss to Atlanta and missed the Jacksonville game two weeks ago.

Tight end Brody Eldridge was also injured against the Falcons and has since undergone wrist surgery.

Caldwell says Eldridge is "day to day".
