Northern State Shocks Bulldogs In Exhibition Play

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Northern State used a 12-0 run over the final four minutes of regulation to shock the Butler Bulldogs 53-50 in an exhibition game at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Alex Thomas hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to give the Wolves the victory one night after being blown out by 32 points at Purdue.

Collin Pryor led Northern State with 18 points.

Andrew Smith paced the Bulldogs with a game-high 19 points and eight rebounds with Khyle Marshall adding 14 points.

Butler closes out its exhibition schedule on Saturday when they host the Franklin Grizzlies.
