(SOUTH BEND, IN) - After stopping a tenacious Detroit ballclub Sunday, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will host the Sam Houston State Bearkats tonight.
The Fighting Irish had to fight back in the second half to finally put away Detroit, 59-53.
Notre Dame had four players score in double digits, including Eric Atkins and Joey Brooks who led the team with 13 points.
Tim Abromitis will serve his third game of a four game suspension tonight against the Bearkats.
Abromaitis was issued his suspension by the NCAA for a technical rules violation that occurred during the 2008-2009 season.
