Colts Return To Practice Wednesday To Prepare For The Patriots

Last updated on Tuesday, November 29, 2011

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts have the day off and will return to the practice field on Wednesday.

They will begin preparing for the 8- 3 New England Patriots tomorrow.

The Colts fell to 0-11 with their 27-19 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

The Patriots won their third game in a row on Sunday, defeating the Eagles 38-20 in Philadelphia.

Tom Brady threw for 361 yards and three touchdowns in that game.

New England beat the Colts 31-28 in last year's meeting at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts claimed running back Jerome Felton off waivers from the Carolina Panthers on Monday.

Felton is six feet tall, 246 pounds and is in his fourth NFL season after originally being selected in the fifth round of the 2008 draft by Detroit.

He was waived by the Lions following training camp this season and claimed by the Panthers.

Felton could be a replacement for fullback Ryan Mahaffey, who left Sunday's loss to the Panthers with a concussion.

The Colts had an open roster spot after waiving linebacker Adrian Moten on Saturday. Moten was claimed by the Seattle Seahawks yesterday.
