Boilermakers Knock Off Hurricanes To Win 22nd Straight Home Game

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - The Purdue Boilermakers made it 22 wins in a row at Mackey Arena as they beat the Miami Hurricanes 76-65 in the Big Ten / ACC Challenge.

Robbie Hummel scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Boilers with Lewis Jackson finishing with 15 points and Terone Johnson adding 13.

Malcolm Grant and Shane Larkin led Miami with 16 points apiece with Durand Scott scoring twelve and Trey McKinney Jones adding ten as the Hurricanes fall to 4-2.

Purdue has won three straight overall and is now 7-1 this season.

The Boilers travel to Cincinnati to face the eleventh-ranked Xavier Musketeers on Saturday afternoon.
