(NEW YORK, NY) - There is still no word from the NBA regarding cancelling weeks three and four of the league's regular season.
The New York daily news reported on Monday that the league would drop two more weeks from the schedule with an announcement expected on Tuesday.
The league and the players association have not met since mediation broke off last Thursday.
The players have been locked out since July 1st, when the old collective bargaining agreement expired.
There is word this morning of a meeting between the two parties, which may be the reason the move to cancel games has been put on hold.
