Addai And Powers Not Officially Out For This Sunday

Last updated on Thursday, October 13, 2011

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Indianapolis Colts Head Coach Jim Caldwell is not ready to declare Joseph Addai or Jarraud Powers out for this Sunday’s game with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Addai injured his right hamstring in the first quarter of last weekend's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs while powers suffered a left hamstring injury toward the end of the game.

Caldwell says both are improving and their status will be determined late in the week.

The Colts re-signed running back Darren Evans off their practice squad on Tuesday as insurance should Addai be unable to play.

The team announced that they have signed offensive lineman Mike Tepper to the practice squad.

Tepper began the regular season on the practice squad before being elevated to the active roster for the October 3rd game against Tampa Bay.

The Colts also signed rookie defensive back Mike Holmes to the practice squad.

Holmes played collegiately at Syracuse and was in the Chicago Bears' training camp earlier this year.
