The White Sox got to within a run thanks to an RBI single by Paul Konerko and a sacrifice fly from Alex Rios in the fifth and a run-scoring double by Juan Pierre in the sixth.

Luke Hughes scored the eventual winning run in the sixth on a throwing error by Konerko.

The Sox got an RBI groundout from AJ Pierzynski in the eighth, but would not score again.
