Tigers Dominate Indians As Fister Throws Eight Strong Innings

(DETROIT, MI) - Doug Fister threw eight dominant innings as the Detroit Tigers blew-out the Cleveland Indians 14-0.

Fister allowed just three hits, walking none while recording nine strikeouts to move to 11-13 on the season.

Delmon Young hit a three-run home run with Andy Dirks and Alex Avila also driving in three runs each for the Central Division Champions.

Ubaldo Jiminez gave up six runs in his five innings of work to take the loss for the Indians, dropping to 10-13 on the year.
