(HOUSTON, TX) - The Purdue Boilermakers are in Houston to take on the Rice Owls Saturday afternoon.

The Boilers came from behind to knock off Middle Tennessee 27-24 in last Saturday's season opener at Ross-Ade Stadium.

The Owls are 0-1, falling to Number-21 Texas 34-9 in Austin last weekend.

Purdue has not faced Rice since 1998 when they defeated the Owls in West Lafayette.

The Boilermakers are 2-1 against Rice all time.
