Yankees Pummel White Sox To Pick Up Sixth Straight Win

(CHICAGO, IL) - The New York Yankees made it six wins in a row, bombing the Chicago White Sox 18-7 at US Cellular field.

Curtis Granderson had four hits and five runs batted in.

Robinson Cano and Eric Chavez homered and drove in four runs apiece as the Yankees rocked Chicago starter Gavin Floyd to the tune of ten earned runs over two and a third innings.

Carlos Quentin provided a three-run homer and four runs batted in for the Sox, who have lost five-straight games.

New York remains a game behind Boston in the AL East while the third-place Sox fall six and-a-half games behind Detroit in the Central Division.
